Calling all UFO Hunters! Time to conquer your quilting backlog!

Remember that half-finished project tucked away in a drawer, whispering promises of completion? This year, at the Great Okoboji UFO Challenge, we're bringing your sewing dreams back to life!

Dust off those "unfinished projects"—whether it's one, fifteen, or (we won't judge!) thirty—and join us for a week of creative camaraderie and quilting triumph.

But wait, there's more!

  • Unleash your inner quilter-trader: Feeling stuck on a project? Swap it for someone else's at our UFO Exchange (think of it as a matchmaking mission for abandoned masterpieces!).

  • Give & Get Goodies: Got quilting treasures you no longer need? Share the sewing love at our giveaway table—new homes and happy needles guaranteed!

  • Welcome, Clover Cottage!: We're thrilled to have Joni and her fabulous fabric emporium joining us again, bringing a bounty of inspiration in the form of kits, patterns, and everything a quilter's heart desires. Let's show them some Okoboji hospitality!

  • Scrappy Savvy: Join Jeanne Johnson's workshop and unlock the magic of stash-busting techniques. You'll leave with a newfound appreciation for those fabric scraps and a masterpiece in the making!

Choose your adventure:

  • 7-Day/6-Night Retreat: Arrive Wednesday, conquer UFOs until the following Wednesday, and soak in every minute of crafty bliss.

  • 5-Day/4-Night Retreat: Join the fun Wednesday afternoon and stitch your way through a four-night whirlwind of creativity, culminating in a Sunday farewell.

Fuel your creativity (and taste buds):

  • Chef Chad's delicious meals (Brunch-Dinner format) will keep you energized and happy. Just let him know about any dietary needs upon arrival.

  • Satisfy your sweet tooth with the communal snack table—feel free to bring some treats to share!

Pamper yourself:

  • Pedicures, manicures, haircuts, and more are available throughout the retreat—treat yourself to some "prettiness" time with Mindy!

Show & Tell Extravaganza:

  • Share your finished quilts and UFO conquests on Saturday night—let's celebrate each other's sewing journeys! We might even have an additional Tuesday night Show & Tell for even more inspiration.

Packing essentials:

  • Linens and towels

  • Your infectious enthusiasm for all things qulting!

Ready to launch your UFO attack? We can't wait to welcome you to the Great Okoboji UFO Challenge! Remember, arrival is after 7 am on Wednesday.

See you soon,

Susan

Hello Quilters!

Clover Cottage is Back at The TQM Spring Retreat!

We're so excited to stitch our way back to TQM Retreat with you! We hope the holidays were merry and bright, and your UFOs (UnFinished Objects) got some much-needed love during the break.
We've been busy bees in the hive, prepping exciting things for you:
   •    Fresh Fabric Fiesta: Get ready for a vibrant buffet of brand new samples and ideas! We've been handpicking stunning fabrics and crafting inspiring projects to ignite your creativity.
   •    Mysterious Quilt Intrigue: This year's mystery quilt takes a delightful detour! We can't spill all the beans just yet, but trust us, it's going to be a masterpiece in the making. Pre-order now to secure your spot in this fabric adventure (and a special price!).
   •    Pre-Retreat Quilting Fun: Not everyone is a Facebook fan, but for those of you who are, we're planting a secret garden of pre-retreat fun on Facebook! Join our group (link here) for trivia, games, and a chance to connect with fellow quilters before the official stitching madness begins.
Fabric Fancies? We've Got Your Back: Did you dream up any specific fabric wishes before the retreat? Let us know! We'll do our best to weave them into our treasure trove and bring them along for you.
Community Stitches, Strong Roots: We believe in supporting our local soil. That's why we prefer cash and checks, where every stitch (dollar) ripples back into the community. Of course, we will still accept credit cards.
So pack your needles, thread your dreams, and get ready to quilt-i-fy the world with us at the TQM retreat! We can't wait to see you there and witness your fabric masterpieces bloom (metaphorically speaking, of course!).
P.S. Don't forget your thimble and infectious enthusiasm!

Joni

It is more important than ever to have the Medical Release Form on file.  Please make sure Susan has one for you.
